Christina Propst, MD, has practiced General Pediatrics in Houston, Texas, for 25 years. Dr. Christina Propst was born in New York City and raised bilingual in German and English. She graduated Cum Laude from Horace Mann School, where she was active in academics, athletics, and music. She later attended Princeton University, majoring in Politics and graduating Cum Laude in 1991. After graduation, she spent two years in Japan teaching English through the Princeton-in-Asia program. She then earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, graduating in 1998 as a member of the top 5% of her class. She completed her residency at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine and earned recognition, including Alpha Omega Alpha membership and the Herbert B. Rothschild, M.D. Award, and the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation.

She has served her community during times of crisis, offering medical support after Hurricanes Katrina and Harvey, contributing to advocacy efforts, and helping to educate the public during the COVID-19 pandemic. Alongside her family, she has supported charitable organizations that serve children, health, and local programs.

She has balanced her professional life with raising her children and celebrating over 30 years of marriage. She enjoys gardening, sailing, traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends. Her devotion to service continues to guide her both personally and professionally.
